TOOLOOA HOUSE IS OPEN
Before the opening, the P&C held a working bee which resulted in some lovely gardens in front of the house, installation of the underground part of a watering system for the back garden and finishing touches inside the house. It was great to see teachers, teacher aides (and their partners) and parents working together. The morning tea was FANTASTIC. In case you missed this and the previous working bee, we will give you another opportunity later in the year.
There are still some items required in the house, particularly smaller items for the kitchen. If you have items which you think could be useful, please call the school.
Are you worried about the impact of part time work on your child’s school work, or do you think it is a good thing? The federal government is currently conducting an investigation into this and would like the input of your student. Please encourage your student to visit the website and complete the student survey before the end of May. http://www.aph.gov.au/studentsurvey
Our next P&C meeting will be on 10th June at 7.00 – the Wednesday after the long weekend - in the staff room near the front office. Hope to see you there.
