On Friday, 8 May, Toolooa SHS held its annual Cross Country Carnival. The afternoon was a great success, with an increase in overall participation numbers. Once again, Curtis proved too strong against the competitive Keppel, making them the Overall Champion Careport with 951 points. Individual Age Champions are as follows:

Many thanks also go out to all staff that helped out on the afternoon with marshalling, recording, drinks and course officiating. Without this dedication, an event such as this can never take place. Also, a huge thanks to Brian Townsend and the PE Staff who helped organise and run the carnival. We wish all the runners good luck for the upcoming Port Curtis trials to be held Tuesday, 26th May at the Gladstone Golf Club.
