Congratulations Toolooa High for 25 years of excellent service!

Toolooa State High School opened its doors on Tuesday, 27th January, 1981, with only six buildings, 200 year eight students and very basic subjects. In August, 1981, Toolooa celebrated its first year of opening. By 1993, the school had grown significantly and the ‘Toolooa’ sign was unveiled on the hill. Toolooa had to work hard to get what it needed for the school, by extensive fundraising.

In 2006, there are more than fourteen buildings and over 900 students in the school. Toolooa is growing every year. The principal and all students have written a letter to those who will be in their positions in 2031. These letters will be buried in a time capsule and they will make interesting reading in years to come.
