| Arts Primary to Secondary Transition Program |

The Arts Department of Toolooa SHS recently held their annual Primary to Secondary Transition Program. The program is designed to develop and extend students who display an interest and/or aptitude in the strands of The Arts (dance, drama, media, visual art, music) as well as provide a smooth transition into high school.
Students were encouraged to:
· Work with their perceptions, thinking and imagination in unique and challenging ways
· Enjoy imaginative and aesthetic experiences and extend their creative, aesthetic and imaginative abilities
· Build an understanding that art can be a universal means of communication and provide a living expression of culture, spirituality and history.
Thank you to all year 6 students who participated in the program. We welcome any feedback and hope that you enjoyed the experience.
