2015 RYPEN Camp

30/04/2015
2015 RYPEN Camp

Over the holidays, 5 Toolooa students attended the 2015 RYPEN camp. RYPEN is a Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment which consisting of plenary sessions, workshops, sport and entertainment activities. Participants are given the opportunity to learn from achievers in the worlds of business, sport and entertainment and presenters will talk at keynote sessions and share their experience with participants while emphasising the need to work hard and stay focused. Kaitlyn Read, Mellissa Ndabanengi, Shanija Saffy, Gabriel Berger and Lauren Brennan all agreed that it was a fun and valuable experience. The most enjoyable part of the experience was the feeling of belonging you had right from the start when everyone arrived.

From not knowing one another the activities ensured that we made friendships that will last a lifetime.  A special thank you to South Gladstone Rotary for sponsoring the students who attended.

Anyone interested in a personal challenge and lots of fun should consider attending the RYPEN camp next year.
