ADF Study Tour
(3 – 7 March 2014)
The Australian Defence Force offered a chance for 20 young Indigenous Australians to spend time at two key Australian Defence Force establishments, the Army Logistic Training Centre in Bandiana Victoria and RAAF Base Wagga Wagga, the RAAF School of Technical Training and Recruit Training Unit.
The tour allowed students who are genuinely interested in the ADF to participate in some fun military style activities and gain insight into the various careers offered by the Australian Defence Force.
This was a wonderful opportunity for Indigenous students to increase their understanding of the important role of the Australian Defence Force.  Applications were open Australia wide, with students having to address an intensive selection criteria.
We are very proud that five Toolooa students: Juwan Eggmolesse, Sharna Gaston, Georgia Schofield, Jalen Eggmolesse and Shanai Ingra were selected to attend.
We have received overwhelming positive feedback from the students, as well as impressive reports from RAAF Wagga Wagga Base Command.
