In week three, Toolooa State High School’s entire Arts department put on a show that entertained and wowed their audience. There was dynamic dancing in the popular dance styles of Hip Hop and Jazz; thought provoking and sensitive drama performances asked the audience to think and consider the social issues a little deeper; talented musical groups and duos; and not to forget our award winning instrumental music team. Some of the highlights included the chillingly beautiful performance of "Hallelujah” by Caitlin Bignall and the graceful year 11 dance students. All in all, it was a great night to show case the extraordinary and plentiful talent of Toolooa’s arts students.
In the end, big thanks must go out to our parents and carers who constantly support their children to grow and invest in their creative skills. Our task as teachers is to only facilitate what you have already fostered, thank you!
And… we can’t wait to see what talent we discover next year!
Our thanks,
The Arts Department
