Welcome Back!

It is great to see everyone’s smiling faces here at school after a relaxing two-week break.

Term four always seems to fly past, especially for our senior students. This term, our students have a staggered finish; our Year 12s will be the first to leave, followed by our Year 10s and 11s, then finally our Year 7s, 8s and 9s who are here until the end of week 10.

As well as being very quick, term four is exceptionally busy! We will soon be hosting three of our important annual events – the Arts Showcase, the Awards’ Night, and the Sports Awards’ Evening.  Be sure to stay connected with the school for more information regarding these events. We welcome as many families as possible to attend these events as we celebrate the talents and achievements of our wonderful school community.

Lunch on the Lawn – A Massive Success!
As many of you would know, the end of last term saw our school host the first ever TSHS Lunch on the Lawn. It was an unbelievable success, raising much-needed funds for our local hospitals (specifically, the oncology units). It was amazing to see our school come together for this great cause. Our staff banded-together, wearing specially designed shirts, while our students showed great pride in wearing pink and donating a gold coin. Events such as Lunch on the Lawn don’t just come together without hard work. Ms Lindy Taylor and her VSW class worked tirelessly, selling pizzas, advertising and organising the event. Mrs Ellen Kean and her senior leadership team also worked hard, promoting the event and liaising with the VSW students. Mrs Shonhan and the Junior Secondary Leadership Team organised pink ribbons for all students and staff to wear on the day. A massive effort by all students and staff – just another reason why we’re all so proud of this great school. Congratulations to all involved!
