Outstanding Mathematicians off to the State Finals!

You may recall reading about Toolooa’s outstanding mathematicians winning the QAMT Regional Mathematics Competition a couple of weeks ago. Following this victory, the team was invited to compete in the next level of the competition against the winning teams from the Wide Bay region. After much hard work and determination, our team came out victorious once again, achieving a total of 30 points, which is reported to be the highest score at that level of the competition in over five years!  Of course, the team was thrilled with their performance and they certainly have the support of the school community behind them.

With this win, the boys have earned themselves a spot in the QAMT State Finals, which is due to be held in Brisbane on the 10th of September. They are looking forward to this challenge and we are excited to showcase Toolooa’s talents at such a prestigious event!
