End of School Year Approaching

I’m sure that many students are eagerly awaiting the Christmas holidays coming up at the end of this term!  Please note that all Junior Secondary students (years 7 – 9) are expected to be at school until the end of week ten. During the end of week nine and all of week ten, Junior Secondary students will participate in an alternate program where their regular school timetable will cease. Students will still be participating in classwork and assessment during this time, so it is very important to ensure that they are at school as usual and that early holidays are not planned. Students can expect to meet a range of teachers that they may not have encountered throughout the year. They will participate in a range of worthwhile and engaging learning experiences across the final week and a half of their school year.

On another note, the end of the school year is a time where decisions are made for the following year. Information will be coming home soon in regard to subject selections for the 2016 school year. Please take the time to talk with your child about their preferences. As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school for further information.
