2019 Girls STEM Camp
This week, we send Khushi Patel off on a fantastic adventure. She will be joining a group of other female high school students in Brisbane for a week-long STEM Camp. The camp program includes attending public World Science Festival Brisbane events, along with visiting the Queensland Academy for Science, Mathematics and Technology (QASMT) and university research facilities. Opportunities will be provided for Khushi to take on the role as STEM advocate when she returns to Toolooa.
These include:
      • presenting about her experiences to our school and region;
      • making a recording of her camp experience to promote the STEM Girl Power Camp; and
      • becoming an ambassador for National Science Week

Enjoy your time away, Khushi, and we look forward to hearing all about your experiences when you return!

Thank you again to the generous sponsorship from Monadelphous and CQU in making this an all-inclusive camp.
