Lunch On The Lawn
The year 12 Leadership Team are excited to be organising our first ‘Lunch on the Lawn’. On Thursday 20th September, the entire school community will come together to spend an hour celebrating the wonderful things about Toolooa. An extended second break (one hour) will be provided to allow staff and students to enjoy time together on the oval. In the lead up to this event, students will have the opportunity to pre-order pizza to enjoy on the day. Along with this, students will be able to purchase drinks and fairy floss during the actual event.
The day will also be a ‘Wear Pink’ free shirt/hat/socks day (school shorts to be worn) in recognition of the community service aspect of the celebration. All funds raised through food sales, gold coin donation for free shirt, and sweeps drawn for the ‘Toolooa Bolt’ will go towards our efforts to support the Oncology Departments of both the Base and Mater Hospitals.

Seniors Dinner 2018
Saturday 18th August saw 17 Interactors participate in the Senior Citizen Dinner organised by the South Gladstone Rotary Club. The night involved students serving a four course meal and drinks to over 300 senior citizens. Entertainment was fantastic and students encouraged the guests to get up and enjoy the music by dancing the night away. Once again the Toolooa Interact team challenged the seniors with their trivia competition and awarded the celebration prize box.
Once again the seniors supported the Toolooa Interactors in their fundraising endeavours for the 40 hour Famine challenge donating an amazing $462.50 – thank you seniors!!!
Well done to all involved – a great night was had by all.
