School Leaders for 2019
This year, Toolooa has had an excellent pool of applicants for 2019 leadership positions. In order to attain a position as school captain or vice-captain, all applicants were required to write and present a speech, as well as have a meeting with members of the school’s administration and P&C. Following this, all students and staff voted for their preferred leaders. I would like to congratulate our School Captains and Vice Captains for 2019.

Sports Awards
Coming up on Wednesday next week is our annual Sports Awards Evening. This night is to celebrate the successes of our students on the sporting field from throughout the year. This event is held at the Yaralla Sports Club function room and doors open at 6:15pm for a 6:30pm start. If you have received an invitation for this night and wish to attend please purchase your ticket from the front office before they all run out.

Last Week for Year 12
Twelve years of hard work and persistence are paying off for our graduating class of 2018. This really is an important milestone and we look forward to sharing this event with our students.

We encourage our parents/carers to support them to keep on track over this final week. It is essential that the high expectations built within this group continue right to the last day so that they can finish strong.

All Year Levels Attendance
As we reach the end of the year, parents are reminded that children must attend school every day unless they have a reasonable excuse for being away. Visiting family, being tired, starting holidays early are not adequate reasons to be away from school.
