Recognition For Our EBITS Students’
Volunteering Efforts

Congratulations to our EBITS Students Molly Cartwright, Chloe Stuart, Lachlan Niven, Precious Miro, Natasha Andrew, Rosannah Stedman, Jessica Ford, Brooke Assman, Breeanna Ellis, Ysabelle Glori, Rachel Groves and Melanie Hanlon. These students were recognised this week for giving up their time to volunteer in our community at the Boyne Tannum HookUp and Ecofest.

These 12 students have clocked up a massive 192.5 hours of volunteering as part of the EBITS program. Molly Cartwright and Chloe Stuart volunteered 92 of these hours themselves at the Boyne Tannum HookUp as members of the Youth Committee.
Volunteering is an awesome opportunity to learn valuable skills in communication and interaction with others. It boosts the student’s self-confidence and provides a natural sense of accomplishment.

Expressions of interest are now open for students in Years 10, 11 & 12 in 2018 wanting to enrol in the EBITS program. The EBITS centre offers Certificates I & II in Business (Year 10), Certificate III in Business & Certificate II in Tourism (Year 11 & 12). For more information email Tamra Costello (EBITS Coordinator) at tcost25@eq.edu.au. Or to download an application form visit http://eqipgladstone.com.au/apply/.
