Reminder for Senior Subject and Course Enrolments for 2014.
A number of information sessions and activities have been planned to support students in Year 10 to make choices about Senior Subjects and Courses for 2014. The following list of important dates will assist you to meet deadlines for enrolments and selections.
An information session on Senior Pathways at Toolooa SHS will be conducted later in the term by the Deputy Principal during EFL.
Information sessions will be presented to students in EFL regarding the external programs and enrolment processes on Thursday 30th May in period 4.
Heads of Departments will also be presenting information sessions to all EFL classes on Wednesday 5th June providing students with information on subjects that their departments offer in grade 11.
An information session on Senior Pathway including;  QTAC Prerequisites for University and Tertiary Entrance, the Job Guide  and external provider applications will be presented by the Guidance Officer and EQUIP on Thursday 6th June in period 4.
Students will complete an Expression of Interest –Subject Form by Thursday 13th June.
Students will complete their subject choices online through OneSchool by Friday 26th July.
Students complete Senior Education and Training (SET) Plans online by Friday 26th July.
Applications for External courses will be available from the 14th June on the EQIP website.
The closing date is Monday 19th August 2012.

GAGAL pre-trade program
Business and Technology Skills Centre (BITS) academic & /or vocational program
Technical College Gladstone
The following information evenings will be held on:
All EQIP programs - Tuesday 16 July
ETCGR - Tuesday 23 July
EPMA -  Wednesday 24 July (at CQIT)
EBITS - Tuesday 30 July
Year 10 students will have the opportunity to visit the Gladstone Careers and Tertiary Studies Expo at the PCYC on Tuesday 6th August.
Offers for external programs made on Friday 6th September.
Acceptance and deposit due by Friday 20th September, TAFE enrolments and payments are due in September.
Timetables for 2014 finalised and Senior Enrolment interviews held late term 3 or early term 4.

As you may appreciate, there is a diverse range of programs on offer for students continuing their education and/or training after the completion of Year 10.
It is vital that students attend all information sessions at school and bring the relevant information home to discuss with parents.
