The 2020 Year 11 subject selection process has kicked off this term. In Year 10 EFL, students are learning about how the Queensland Certificate of Education works as well as all about the senior subjects on offer to them next year. The Year 10 Semester 2 and Senior Subjects EOI form is due on Thursday 30th May (Week 6).

The QCE/Senior Schooling Information Evening for parents/caregivers is on Thursday 6th June at 6pm; the 2020 Year 11 Subject Selection Information Evening for parents/caregivers is on Thursday 13th June at 6pm. Both events are in the shelter. We would love to see you at these events!

Mock Interviews
Mock Interviews are being held for our year 12 students who have EFL as a class. These are being held on Wednesday 5 June and Thursday 6 June. Students are reminded that when you are given your interview card, please ensure you check your time and day allocated to you. These cards will be handed out in EFL lessons on Wednesday this week, if you miss EFL please see your teacher to collect your interview card. If there are any issues with your interview time, please see Tracey URGENTLY in the Senior room prior to Monday 3rd of June.

Remember: Interviews are held in the Senior Room, arrive 5 - 10 minutes prior in the appropriate attire. Bring your resume and cover letter.

We thank our volunteer interviewers for giving up their time to assist us with these days. The day would not be possible without their assistance. After the interviews are completed we will put up a list of the local businesses and staff that assisted, on our Facebook page and newsletter officially thanking them. Please support these local businesses.

EQIP Careers Expo
All Year 10 students, and some Years 11 and 12 students, attended the EQIP Careers Expo at CQU earlier this month. What a great event for our students! Students found the expo extremely informative (and also enjoyed collecting all of the freebies on offer!). Thanks EQIP for another fantastic expo.
