Year 11 EQIP EBITS Graduation
Congratulations to our four Year 11 EBITS graduates, who completed a Certificate III in Business at EBITS this year.

Students who attend EBITS not only complete a Certificate III but also volunteer at a range of community events including Boyne Tannum Hook Up and Botanic to Bridge. Well done to Natasha, Talia, Precious and Emily!

2017-2018 UQ Young Scholars Program
Four of our Year 11 students recently participated in the UQ Young Scholars Program: Amritesh Savnak, Connie Li, Merin Ward and Nicholas Versic.

Designed to nurture and develop our future leaders, the Young Scholars Program presents students with an exciting opportunity for academic extension and enrichment and is centred around igniting young change-makers’ passions for leadership, academic achievement and community development in today’s global society.

Students participated in a five-day (four night) Residential Camp at the St Lucia campus, during which they gained valuable insights into university life and fields of study they may not have encountered as part of the school curriculum. They heard from leading thinkers and engaged in discussions and collaborative forums in group settings.

What a fantastic opportunity for these students!

Congratulations Jess
Jessica Rose, 2017 Year 12 graduate, has been offered and has accepted a place in Queensland University of Technology's Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music) course for 2018.

Selection for this course is based on audition. As part of this, Jess has been awarded the Vice Chancellor's Scholarship (which is worth $10 000 and will pay for Jess' first year of university). Well done Jess!
