Stress and tension is a normal part of everyday life that is helpful to achieve goals and produce great outcomes in your life. If we are too relaxed then we will never do anything. If we are too stressed we may feel overwhelmed and crippled. During this assessment and exam period why not give these tips a try to reduce stress.

Sleeping well
9 hours of every night, try turning your phone off at 9pm

Eating Well
Healthy diet; reducing sugar, salt and fat. A good breakfast

Being organised
Plan to prioritise daily and weekly; stick to your personal timetable

Exercising regularly
National guidelines state that adequate activity for good health is at least 150 minutes per week over at least 5 sessions.

Learning to relax
Reduce electronic leisure activities; celebrate achievements with friends and family.

Avoiding arguments
Listen then talk; not vice versa.

Sharing problems
Include your family and teachers to support you to develop grit and growth mindsets.
