Toolooa student saves lives

6/12/2012

Toolooa students have decided to make a difference to the lives of others by rolling up their sleeves and donating blood.

Five year 11 students gave up their time to attend the Red Cross Blood donation centre at the Gladstone Hospital in order to help others. All first time donors they enthusiastically filled out the paperwork, gained parental permission, completed the interview and then courageously gave blood. The students will be followed by another 3 three students next week undertaking the same live saving gift of donating.

Well done to those students who made the decision to help others – you are wonderful individuals, an asset to Toolooa and heroes to others in the community!
