We believe every individual has equal worth, a natural desire to learn, the capacity to act ethically and morally, and can and should pursue excellence to their own potential in a spirit of cooperation. Students are recognised as being equipped to contribute positively to society and participate in lifelong learning. Graduates from the school exit as great learners and great citizens with great futures.

The school community believes that a supportive and disciplined environment is characterised by certain beliefs and practices. A supportive school environment encapsulates these beliefs and encourages the most effective learning and teaching to take place. The school’s supportive environment is one with clear guidelines – defined for how the school will seek to teach, guide, encourage, lead and motivate students to behave responsibly; to own inevitable choices; accept consequences; and respect the rights of the school community.
