Finding Calm, & Displaying Kindness.
It was great to see the Aussie spirit of chipping in to help bushfire victims recently.
Sadly only a matter of weeks later, & we see images of brawls in shopping aisles over toilet paper. Opportunities exist for all of us in this climate of predominantly fear & anxiety, to look out for the little guy/girl. The little guy/girl may represent an elderly lady who just needs us to be polite/ courteous & show her some respect. Or we may even have the chance to pop over to an elderly neighbour to see if they need anything.
There’s an ancient manuscript written thousands of years ago that mentions the following verses:
Ps 91v1-5. Some snippets of that are: “He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the perilous pestilence”.
In relation to us looking out for others “visit orphans & widows in their trouble” James 1v27.
It will be forever seared upon their memory-the times that kindness were demonstrated, & they were the recipient.

Have a great week.
