With Jess Batey
Since the Student Free Days were announced by the government last week, our entire school community has been working busily to get organised for students to engage in remote learning. All households should have received a phone call from the school by now, checking-in about access to devices/Internet, and ensuring that the school has up-to-date contact details. If you haven’t received a call yet, please contact the administration team on 49714333 to update your details.
Soon, all families will be receiving a ‘parent pack’ in the mail. This pack will provide parents/carers with all the information regarding remote learning at Toolooa SHS. We strongly encourage all parents to read through all the documents in this package and discuss the implications with your child/ren. The package also contains key contacts for staff at the school. Once school resumes, please feel free to touch base with relevant staff if you have any questions or concerns.
Our staff have been spending the week developing teaching and learning resources for remote learning. They’ve put it in a massive effort and we’ve been really impressed with their creativity and dedication.
We sincerely thank you, as part of our school community, for your ongoing understanding and support.
