Remote Learning
Nobody could argue with the fact that the start to this term has been tough! Our staff, students and families have all been thrown into a whirlwind of remote learning, which has been a steep learning curve for many. But – in true Toolooa style – we’ve all taken the challenges in our stride, and worked together to make the most out of the situation. For me, the most impressive part has been the willingness to learn – not only from our students, but also from staff and parents. I’d like to hope that once this is all over, and we’re back to ‘normal’, we’ll take these learnings and move forward, stronger, smarter and better than ever. We again thank our community for their flexibility, patience and cooperation during this time.

Be sure to grab yourself a copy of this fortnight’s Gladstone News, where our school is showcased on the front page, and in a double-page spread. In this edition, you’ll read about our 2019 TSHS Dux, some of our outstanding 2019 graduates, our 2020 STEM Squad, and our brand new building.
Return of Students in Year 7 – 10
Along with the rest of the community, we are awaiting confirmation from the Premier, regarding the official start date for the remainder of our school. Preliminary information indicates that all students are due back on the 25th of May (start of week 6), but we will need to wait patiently for this to be confirmed. Until students return to the classroom, our teachers will continue to teach via remote learning for students in Years 7 through to 10. Rest assured, we will update our community as soon as information comes to hand. Please continue to follow our Facebook page for regular updates.
