Transitions
Term four is a time for transitions. If you have a child coming into Year 7 with us in 2021, please register for your place at the next information session, which will also include a virtual school tour.
Existing students transitioning from Year 7, 8, 9 or 10 into the next year level should have completed their subject selections form ready for 2021. If your child is yet to do so, please encourage them to see Abi at the student counter and grab a form. It’s ‘first in, best dressed’ for subject preferences, so it’s best to get in as quickly as possible.
GPC STEM Challenge
If you follow our Facebook page, you may have already seen that The Gladstone Observer has showcased the incredible success of the first ever GPC STEM Challenge, hosted by Toolooa State High School. Mr Capill, along with some of our STEM mentors and GPC experts, facilitated a STEM Challenge between some local primary schools. The challenge ran incredibly well, and we received such positive feedback from the schools involved. Congratulations to all involved, and huge thanks to GPC and Mr Capill for making it happen.
