2020 QMEA & QGC Drone Challenge
This week, a number of talented Toolooa students competed in a drone challenge. The challenge was planned, organised and present by our very own STEM Squad. It provided over eighty likeminded students from each of our local high schools the opportunity to compete against each other in a series of events throughout the day. The challenge was fully funded by QMEA & QGC, including the purchase of six new drones and a number of trophies and awards that were up for grabs. Our students did an incredible job of working together, thinking creatively and cheering one another along. Their drone operation skills were tested in three events that involved accuracy, speed, teamwork and problem solving skills. Winners of the challenge will be announced next week.
