PREQIP 2024
This term, our Year 10 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students were invited to take part in the Gladstone Areas State Secondary Schools alliance, PREQIP PROGRAM. The program aims to provide students with a platform to investigate and develop pre–Senior Education and Training Plans which align to potential career opportunities. The long-term goal is are to guide and assist students into their chosen senior pathway.
The first experience the students were lucky enough to be invited to, was the Orientation Day at Boyne Island Environmental Education Centre. Our students had the opportunity to collaborate with other Year 10 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students from Gladstone.

- Contract Resources and Airside Fire Station Tour
