Thankyou RSL Gladstone
On Monday 20th March 2023, Trevor Davis, one of our School's Teacher Aides and a representative of the RSL Gladstone presented this book, on their behalf, "They Answered The Call" to our library. Abi, who is our librarian accepted it. Thank you to RSL Gladstone for donating this book to our Library.
Toolooa SHS Takeover of ParkRun
A number of fantastic Toolooa students volunteered to staff ParkRun (a free timed 5km walk or run) on Saturday 18th March. This involved being at Lions Park at 6.30am - an early start for some of them! Students took on the roles of tail walker, barcode scanner, timekeeper, photographer and token distributor. As usual, our Toolooa students were wonderful representatives of our school.

Congratulations to Former Student Sophia Ross
One of Toolooa State High School’s former students Sophia Ross received an Academic Excellence prize—Wilhelmina Gladstone Jameson Prize—at The Women’s College Academic Dinner recently. Academic Excellence Prizes are awarded to Women’s College residents based on their cumulative university results from the previous year and the criteria of the particular Academic Excellence Prize. Many of these prizes are long-standing and were established by donor bequests or by College alumnae and the College Council. This tradition is in the 109th year in which they acknowledge and celebrate the next generation of young women exhibiting academic excellence.
