As I’m sure many of you are, I’m eagerly looking forward to tomorrow night’s Arts Showcase. Our arts students work so hard, all year long, to refine their craft and prepare for an impressive evening of entertainment. I’d like to acknowledge the hard work of our Arts Department, led by Georgie Schluter – they have given up hours of their own time, supporting students in their preparation. If you haven’t had a chance to get your tickets yet, do so ASAP via the GECC website – you won’t be disappointed!
As the celebrations continue, next Thursday sees us hosting the 2021 Awards’ Ceremonies, acknowledging the academic achievements of our junior and senior students, as well as announcing our 2022 school captains and vice captains. Award recipients should now have received an invitation with instructions for ticket booking. Looking forward to celebrating these academic achievements with students, staff and families alike.
Another upcoming event is our Year 6 into 7 Information Evening, next Tuesday. If you have any friends or family members who have a child joining us in Year 7 in 2022, please encourage them to register for their free tickets. For the link, please see our Facebook page.
