Excellence Awards
During last week’s year 7 parade, students who received excellence in effort and behaviour during term 1 were presented with “excellence awards”. It was no surprise to see the outstanding number of students in year 7 consistently making good choices inside and outside the classroom. These students model our school value in all they do, and we are incredibly proud of their efforts. Well done all.
Year 8 STEM Camp
Recently, nine talented year 8 Toolooa students took part in the Yallarm STEM Camp. These students were selected to take part in the exciting opportunity provided by the Boyne Island Environmental Education Centre. Students explored the harbour, investigated different habitats on Facing island, observed human impacts on our local environment, explored new technology at CQU’s STEM Central and worked together to complete STEM challenges. The students had a fantastic time and were recognised for their exceptional behaviour and attitude throughout the camp.
