Toolooa State High School recognises that we are living in an ever-changing world, and that it is important for students to have access to technology to supplement their learning, both at school and at home. As we are a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) school, many students already have access to an iPad or laptop, and have worked to develop the necessary IT skills to operate these devices effectively.
If students are absent from school, or – in rare circumstances – when the school is closed, students will access remote learning. In order to support students, staff and parents, we have developed a range of supporting resources.
Please view the Toolooa State High School Remote Learning Plan for information regarding student access to remote learning.
Students engaging in remote learning must adhere to the Toolooa State High School Remote Communication Protocols.
Students who require assistance or guidance should access the tutorials for accessing OneNote, Office 365 (via mobile device or computer), and the troubleshooting guide for students.
Students may wish to access our online library to borrow books to read for leisure.
All Toolooa SHS students also have access to thousands of educational videos on ClickView. Students may use their regular MIS login to access these videos from any Internet-enabled device.
As an additional form of support for parents, Toolooa SHS has developed a Parent Support Package. This package, along with other information regarding remote learning, has also been sent home to all Toolooa families in the mail.
We have been posting updates on our school Facebook page regularly. Please ensure you have 'liked' our page to keep up-to-date with the latest information.
