First Nations News
Firstly, a big thank you to all our families that made the Meet and Greet at Barney Point. It was a great afternoon, with prizes, touch footy and of course a sausage sizzle. It was an opportunity for our families to meet our Team and also some of our amazing Teachers and support staff.
We are taking expressions of interest from our current Year 10 students for a career pathway experience. We will be visiting different industries around our region. Students will also have the opportunity to complete their White Card and First Aid. Notes will be out this week. Numbers are limited.
There have been some really amazing, good news stories from around our school lately. With the new stamp cards and our own goal setting, our students have been kicking some goals!
Our star for this newsletter is Mathew in year 7. Mathew has started the year on a positive note, taking care of his school environment and helping others where he can. As a reward, Mathew received a treat from the First Nations Team and a full stamp card to trade with Ms Dwyer.
Well done, Mathew keep up the good work!
