Welcome to Term 2!
Our last trip for PREQIP in Term 1, was heading over to Curtis Island and experiencing all that Santos and the GLNG team have to offer.
Miss Kacie and Mr Roby escorted the students where they had a day learning about the processes to make LNG.
Here are some photos from the day.
Congratulations Alliara & Kirra
Alliara Dowdle Year 7 and Kirra Year 8 both play for Central Football Club and have been selected by LS Talents to play in the SingaCup International Youth Football tournament in Singapore in November 2024.
SingaCup is the largest youth football tournament in Australasia with over 3000+ players from around the world.
Alliara and Kirra are members of the first girls’ team to head over from Gladstone. The girls will compete against other U14 girls from around the world. This tournament will help to develop their skills and knowledge of their beloved sport.
Both girls and their families are very busy trying to fundraise to help cover the costs to get them there. If you would like to help support the girls in their journey, they have a facebook page to update people for their fundraising event dates and locations.
Their Facebook page is: Alliara & Kirra Singapore Soccer Tournament. You will be able to keep up to date with their events and their progress.
The team are also looking for any sponsorship opportunities to cover the cost of team shirts to be worn while in Singapore.
