QCIA Gym Sessions
Every Thursday in term 3, our QCIA class have gone to Hub Total Fitness to participate in an exercise program. We managed to do different activities such as a 10 minute warm up on the bikes and treadmills, followed by our chosen programs. The trainers took us through how to use the equipment properly; the equipment we used included the leg press, pull-down bar, dumbbells, spin bike and rowing machine. Ahmed Al-Mayoof, one of our year 12 students stated, ‘I enjoyed the gym very much and they are really nice people who have helped us to exercise.’ Overall the program taught everyone to communicate with one another as well as being active at the same time. We really appreciated the time and effort everyone put into this program and letting us experience new equipment.
