A group of Year 7 and 8 students went to CQ University to participate in a Gladstone Future Cities Challenge. This year's Gladstone Future Cities challenge is turning its attention to one of the most important industries in any city- Energy. With the world's population expanding, globalisation intensifying and technology advancing, the Energy sector plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cities. The students looked at how places around the world are starting to convert to cleaner renewable energy and how Gladstone might start to look by 2050. These students will now engage with the presenters from BOP Industries every Monday afterschool as they work on this Term long project. We look forward to seeing what these students can achieve.
