We’re now nearing the end of the term for our junior students. Term four really does fly by!
In preparation for our incoming Year 7 students in 2024, we have already hosted the first couple of sessions of our extended transition for students with additional needs. These sessions have been hugely successful in providing students with desensitisation to high school, including tours, meeting staff, learning about rules and processes. We’ve been impressed with the effort, engagement and behaviour of the transitioning students, and we’re looking forward to welcoming them all into our school next year. I’d like to acknowledge the hard work of Mr Roby, Mrs Grayer and the team at Toolooa House for making the extended transition such a success! In addition to the extended transition, we will be hosting a transition day for all incoming Indigenous students on Friday of week 8 (details via primary schools), then 2 full orientation days for all incoming students on Monday and Tuesday of week 9.
To be eligible to attend our orientation days, students must be enrolled in our school (paperwork must be submitted in advance).
